PocketPass Lite Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

The short version: your cards stay on your device, and we don't collect anything.

PocketPass Lite (the "App") is developed by Mark Pticar ("we", "us"). This policy describes what happens to your data when you use the App.

What the App stores, and where

What the App asks permission for

What we collect

Nothing. The App contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party SDKs. We do not receive, store, or see any of your data — card content, photos, location, or usage — because none of it is ever transmitted to us. The App Privacy section on our App Store listing reflects this: no data is collected.

In-app purchases

The Tip Jar offers optional, one-time tips. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy; we never learn who tipped, and the App contains no purchase history that reaches us.

Children

PocketPass Lite contains no content or features directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children. Family Sync is a device-to-device feature controlled entirely by the people pairing their devices.

Changes

If a future version of the App ever changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and the App Privacy section of the App Store listing before that version ships.

Who is responsible for your data

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller for PocketPass Lite is:

Mark Pticar

Your rights

Because PocketPass Lite stores everything on your device and transmits nothing to us, we hold no personal data about you — there is no account, no server, and no record of you on our side. In practice that means your GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection are things you exercise directly on your own device:

If you believe we hold personal data about you regardless, contact us at the address above and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in Slovenia, the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si).

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Slovenia and the European Union.
